about

The songs on this album were originally composed as the score to accompany the documentary "Yang Paling Hina", which documented the immediate aftermath of the 2008 Indian Ocean Tsunami. The visual impact of the devastation was documented in film and photos, and served as the inspiration for music depicting scenes before, during and after the disaster.

When another another tsunami struck the coast of Japan in 2011, the music was packaged and made available for a donation that was directly forwarded to recovery efforts in the area.
